Describe your biggest win at CSS PSG
My biggest win during my time with PSG so far was exceeding my first-year quota by 10% as a new and inexperienced recruiter.
Describe a difficult situation you’ve been in with a candidate or client and how you turned that challenge into a win
A candidate of mine received a $120k offer from our client; when resigning from his current role his manager counter offered and matched the salary. After some stress and a successful negotiation, our client came back and offered $130k and the candidate is still happily working in this role.
In what areas have you grown the most professionally at CSS PSG, and how have you seen CSS PSG grow as a whole during your time here?
My confidence and communication skills have grown immensely. During my time with CSS PSG (2 years in December), the division has evolved. No longer constrained to local office locations, PSG now has recruiters sitting across the country, which allows us to focus on growing our business and helping more people to find their next career move.
Where/in what sectors, locations, etc. are you hoping to expand your market in the next six-to-12 months? How are you planning to get there?
I am currently leading a team of PSG recruiters in expanding our pipeline of candidates and searching for client leads in the Texas markets.
What professional accomplishments are you most proud of achieving in 2022 and why?
Completing my CDR certification exam (Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter).
What’s a tactic you use to unwind and recalibrate in the middle of the day to refocus and lock into your afternoon?
I love taking a midday walk to the park near my house before the afternoon.
What’s a go-to tool (scheduling, writing, organizing, media, etc.) that makes your life easier from day to day?
Sticky Notes! If something is written on a stickie note, I am 95% more likely to remember it.
What culturally stands out about the CSS PSG team that breeds success?
We are fun and funny! The PSG team has a “work hard, play hard” mentality. Everyone knows how to roll their sleeves up and work together to accomplish our goals.
What’s your go-to power lunch?
Trader Joe’s veggie fried rice with a sunny side up egg on top.
If you could have one attribute from three different significant historical figures, what and from whom would they be and why?
- Ruth Bader Ginsberg-Passion for her fight against discrimination in the justice system.
- Mother Theresa-Dedication to those less fortunate and in need.
- John Muir-Foresight into the importance of conservation and protecting our environment.

You have 1,000,000 to donate equally to three charities; which ones are you donating to and why?
I would donate to the American Cancer Society, NAACP, and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Your manager suddenly gives you permission to work the next month from anywhere in the world all expenses paid for; where are you adventuring to and why?
I would work from Italy and explore the entire country during my weekends and off time. My dad’s side of the family is from a small town in Calabria named Pentedattilo, and I have always dreamed of visiting.
If you could relive one weekend of your life, what would it be and why?
I traveled to Croatia in September and had the best weekend celebrating my friend’s birthday. We took a boat out for the day, snorkeled, cliff jumped, and ate delicious local cuisine.
If you had to pick one actor/actress to play you in a biopic, who would it be?
Emma Watson.
If you could be on a reality TV show for one season, which would you be on and why?
Below Deck-so I could travel around, live on the water, and experience living on a boat for a bit!
